WHAT IS THE UNIVERSITY ON WHEELS?

The UOW is simply a way of taking our long established Achieving Potential holiday program into schools during term time.  We will visit your school on a regular basis on days to be negotiated with your Principal, bringing a range of quality workshops presented by tutors with wide experience of working with gifted and talented students.  On days when the UOW is in your school, your child will attend our lectures and workshops instead of ordinary classes.Some schools may elect to act as a host school and open up the opportunity to others in the area in order to maintain a stable group of participating students.

WHO PAYS?   

Families of the students involved will pay. 

WHO CAN ATTEND?

This opportunity will suit a range of differing students.

HIGH FLYERS:  those high achieving students who already perform at the top of their age group and crave extra extension......

RISING STARS:  students with drive and ambition to excel who consistently push themselves to achieve their aims......

CREATIVE THINKERS:  those who are both imaginative and creative, innovative and ingenious.....

TALL POPPIES:   original thinkers with unusual ideas who are clearly not quite on the same wave length as their age peers......

ODD BODS:    those who don't quite fit in and consistently display thinking that verges outside the confines of the square .....
