School Holiday Courses Funding....

The generosity of THE TODD FOUNDATION has made it possible for us to make available a number of scholarships enabling students from low decile schools to attend the next seminars for high ability students. We are still taking funding applications for the September/October school holidays.

School Holiday Courses 8 to 15 yr olds (Years 4 to 10)

Posting out has been completed and registrations for the Gifted & Talented workshops organised for September/October are now coming in. Initial interest appears to favour MATHS, ASTRONOMY and STRATEGY GAMES for years 4 to 6 with CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION definitely in the lead as far as years 7 to 10 are concerned. However at this stage anything could happen of course!

Sad news....

It is with a great deal of sadness I report the sudden death in a road traffic accident of Melanie Blakebrough. Regular seminar attendees will know Melanie as a dedicated member of our supervision staff and someone who had been working with us for a number of years. Her positive attitude, her enthusiasm and energy will be greatly missed by staff and students alike. Our thoughts go out to Douglas, Rebecca and John at this most distressing time.

Young Writers continued.......

School Holiday Courses Fantastic FUNDING news....

We have recently been notified of some really exciting news. THE TODD FOUNDATION have once again agreed to grant us funds that will enable us to award scholarships to a number of worthy students who would not otherwise be in a position to attend the Achieving Potential Seminars. This applies to those students currently attending decile 1, 2 and 3 schools throughout New Zealand. For further details contact: jean [at] holidayseminars [dot] co [dot] nz or telephone 09 585 0111.
We are extremely grateful to THE TODD FOUNDATION for making this opportunity possible.
