Congratulations go to CHRISTOPHER JURY who has won a $20 book token prize for his contributions from April to June on Wild Kid Nick's Senior Challenges. Christopher has provided in-depth solutions to challenges, proposed thought-provoking challenges of his own, and interacted imaginatively with other students posting comments on Nick Oram's webpage.

Most of New Zealand's students returned to school today and during the holidays we received lots of enquiries about the September/October courses. Many thanks for your messages. All email enquiries will be attended to this week and we will be ready to take enrollments by the end of the month.

We have just heard about a wonderful opportunity for 10-14 year olds to learn the Spanish language during the July school holidays. An intensive two week learning experience will include a host of games and activities, videos and audio cassettes, music, songs and stories - plus, of course, lots of vocabulary. You will be able to speak, understand, read and write elementary level Spanish by the time you return to school for Term Three! The course begins on Monday 2nd July and you need to confirm your interest by Tuesday 12th June. The venue is to be The George Parkyn Centre at Owairaka School in Richardson Road.
